Quentin Brogdon Elected to Be President of Dallas Chapter ABOTA
Attorney Quentin Brogdon of Crain Lewis Brogdon, LLP was elected as President of the Dallas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) at the Dallas Chapter’s Annual Judicial Dinner in November of 2016. ABOTA is a national, invitation-only association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation of the civil trial jury right provided by the Seventh Amendment of the United States Constitution. ABOTA’s missions include elevating the standards of integrity, honesty and courtesy in the legal profession, a process that benefits both attorneys and the clients they represent. ABOTA also works to improve the education and training of trial lawyers through various means, including seminars and courses.
Mr. Brogdon is a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only association that is limited to 500 U.S. lawyers under age 70. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, and he is board certified in personal injury trial law and in civil trial advocacy. He has been a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer every year since its inception, and he has been selected as one of the Top 100 Texas Monthly Super Lawyers in Texas on multiple occasions. He has been selected by Lawdragon Magazine as one of its "Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers in America," selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Texas Trial Lawyers, and selected by D Magazine as one the "Best Lawyers in Dallas."
Mr. Brogdon is also a past Vice-President of Finance for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and a past President of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. He served on the State Bar of Texas Pattern Jury Charge Committee for Business, Consumer and Employment Law, and he has authored over 40 published articles on topics related to personal injury trial law. He received his B.A. degree from Rice University and his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Houston, where he was an associate editor of the Houston Law Review. He is AV-Rated Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
