Darrell W. Calvin, Jr.
Attorney 16+ Years’ Experience
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Attorney Darrell W. Calvin Jr. is proud to provide legal services to clients throughout the State of Texas. For Darrell, practicing law is a privilege. He always puts the client before himself, keeping the client informed throughout every step of the litigation process. Darrell believes that great lawyers are separated from average lawyers through attention to detail. He meticulously handles every step of his cases, from the initial review to the final outcome. He is licensed in Texas state courts and the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas in addition to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Darrell graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995 before going on to obtain his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1999.
In December 2012, Darrell was privileged to be sworn into the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States by Chief Justice John Roberts. Previously, as a defense attorney practicing civil litigation, Darrell tried multiple wrongful death lawsuits to verdict. One of these notable cases ended in a complete defense verdict for his client even after the opposing party had been offered a multi-million dollar settlement towards the beginning of the trial.
Darrell began his legal career serving Dallas County as an Assistant District Attorney in both misdemeanor and felony prosecution. Throughout the course of his career, Darrell was eventually named a full equity partner at one of the oldest civil litigation law firms in Dallas. Before joining Crain Lewis Brogdon, LLP, Darrell opened his own firm and served as the managing member.
